Corder's Cranium

1993

This piece i did in 1993 for my favorite local magazine,Strange Magazine, created & published by the late Mark Chorvinsky,as one of the world's premiere chronicle of unexplained phenomena.

This piece illustrated an article that accounts the strange tale of William Corder, an executed, 19th-century murderer whose death-mask was apparently linked to the unexplained, and untimely deaths of anyone who owned it.... bloodcurdling fun. A photo projection of the death-mask was actually made in Mark's basement library. The two columns of text on the right was from the article ,as it appeared in Strange Magazine, written by Frank Sandwell.
