The Legend of Jow Lung is a 48-page graphic novel that retells the life and struggles of the founder of Jow Ga Martial Arts, the legendary Kung Fu Master, Jow Lung. Jow Lung, along with his four brothers, Jow Hip, Jow Biu, Jow Hoy , and Jow Tin, created the Jow Ga system in the early days of 20th Century China as a means of physical, spiritual and social discipline in response to the economic devastation and social decay brought about by Western colonization and the Opium Wars of the early 1900's.

Positive Force DC is a Washington DC-area activist group that works for fundamental social change and youth empowerment. We organize benefit and free concerts, demonstrations and teach-ins and also do direct work with needy people.

Common Ground's mission is to provide relief for victims of hurricane disasters in the gulf coast region, and long term support in rebuilding communities in the New Orleans area. It is a community-initiated volunteer organization offering assistance, mutual aid, and support established in the first week after Hurricane Katrina flooded New Orleans.

Common Ground was the first organization to open up a medical clinic in Algiers, and provide immediate assistance (food, water, supplies) to the thousands of low-income residents unable to evacuate.

Japan International Volunteer Center (JVC) has various projects such as agriculture, water provision, forest preservation/utilization, children's education, peace building, and emergency relief. Cambodia, Viet Nam, Laos, Thailand, South Africa, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, D.P.R.K and Sudan are the current fields of our projects.

The B'Artful Cartooning Workshop will be taking place on Saturday, October 26,2013 in McLean, Virginia.
